Welcome to Stylevant! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stylevant website (stylevant.com) and the Stylevant Chrome Extension (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Stylevant is a productivity tool and SaaS platform that provides inline prompt engineering and enhancement for third-party AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. Our Service acts as an interface layer to help users improve their inputs to these systems.

2. Account Terms

  • Registration: You must create an account using an supported authentication method (e.g., Google Sign-In, Email/Password) to access the Service.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Termination for Abuse: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine that you are abusing the Service. "Abuse" includes, but is not limited to, reverse engineering our code, sharing your account credentials with others, or attempting to bypass our security measures.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Plans: We offer various subscription tiers, including Free and Paid (Pro/Plus) plans. Specific limits and features for each plan are listed on our pricing page.
  • Payment Processing: All payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods.

4. AI and Third-Party Disclaimers

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • No Warranty on AI Output: Stylevant provides tools to help you construct prompts. However, we do not control the underlying AI models (provided by OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and we do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, safety, or legality of the responses generated by these third-party services. You use these AI outputs at your own risk.
  • Platform Dependency: Our Extension functions by interacting with third-party websites (e.g., chatgpt.com). If a third-party platform changes its user interface or underlying code, our Extension may temporarily stop working. While we strive to release fixes quickly, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime or compatibility with third-party sites.

5. Fair Use and Quotas

  • Usage Limits: Access to our features is subject to usage quotas (e.g., daily limits on "Upscales") determined by your subscription plan.
  • API Abuse: Any attempt to programmatically exploit our API, bypass quota enforcement, or generate excessive traffic that disrupts the Service for others is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the prompts you input and the content that is generated by the AI providers (subject to the terms of those third-party providers). Stylevant does not claim ownership of your creative output.
  • Our IP: Stylevant retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including our source code, extension design, branding, logos, and proprietary features.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

In no event shall Stylevant or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
